Mrs. Pope was born and raised in sunny California. She earned her Bachelor’s degree at California State University, Northridge in deaf studies and is currently working on her Master’s degree in Education with a specialization in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of San Diego. In the past eight years, she has taught in the public, private, and now independent school settings. She established the first American Sign Language program at a local high school and is currently writing an American Sign Language course for OCO which she will be teaching it in the fall. During the work day, she supports students through the help desk and ensures that our learning management system is operating efficiently for our OCO students and staff.
